1. Teacher Agreement
By registering as a teacher on YuSay, you agree to use the platform exclusively for legitimate educational purposes; not to share the cohort invite link with unauthorized individuals; to maintain student information in confidence; and to comply with the acceptable use policies described in the Terms of Use.
2. Affiliate Program (Model B)
Eligible teachers may participate in the affiliate program by receiving a personalized discount code (e.g., PROF_LEE40) to share with their students. The code is managed by Stripe and may be activated or deactivated by the YuSay administrator at any time. Participation in the program does not imply an employment relationship.
3. Inherited Access Model (Model A)
When a teacher holds an active subscription, their invited students may receive inherited premium access (INHERITED AccessGrant). This access is tied to the teacher's subscription and may be automatically revoked if the subscription is canceled or expires. YuSay does not guarantee continuity of inherited access beyond the teacher's subscription period.
4. Cohort Usage Limitations
Cohorts are configured with an invite link and an email allowlist. The teacher is responsible for ensuring that only authorized students use the invite link. In case of misuse, the teacher must immediately deactivate the invite through the dashboard settings.
5. Content Generated in Class
Flashcards and translations generated by students in a cohort belong individually to each student. Teachers do not have access to the content of students' individual decks, only to aggregated cohort usage metrics available in the teacher dashboard.
6. Teacher Account Termination
Upon closing a teacher account, all associated cohorts are archived and students are notified by email. Students with inherited access automatically revert to the free plan. The teacher's personal deck is preserved for 30 days and may be exported before permanent deletion.
