1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the YuSay platform (yusay.io), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and YuSay.
2. Description of Service
YuSay is a Mandarin learning platform offering AI-powered translation, spaced-repetition review (SRS), audio pronunciation (TTS), and support for teachers and cohorts. The service is available via web (yusay.io) and messaging bots (WhatsApp, Telegram).
3. Account Registration
To use YuSay, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at hello@yusay.io.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use YuSay for illegal, defamatory, or harmful purposes; not to attempt reverse engineering, decompilation, or API abuse; not to share access credentials; and not to intentionally overload the service infrastructure.
5. Intellectual Property
All content generated by the YuSay platform, including AI-produced translations, flashcards, and learning materials, is protected by copyright. You retain ownership of the phrases you input, but grant YuSay a license to process them in order to provide the service.
6. Plans and Payments
YuSay offers free and premium plans. Premium subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, with no pro-rated refunds unless required by law.
7. Limitation of Liability
YuSay is provided "as is", without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, or service interruptions caused by technical failures beyond our reasonable control.
8. Privacy
The handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. We recommend reading it carefully before using the service.
9. Modifications
We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify registered users by email at least 15 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of São Paulo, SP shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from this agreement.
